September 16, 2010 I got the news that Fairywood's Cassiopeia had delivered of four male and four female puppies. One of the boys would become mine. Their father was Cover My Eyes Walkin on the moon.
Six weeks old, they were all showed on the table; in a short while I would take my puppy home. We called him Sunny, his pedigree name is Aktaion, linking him with his mother and with grandmother L'Etoile St.Silvestre.
.Toos and Bert, I can hardly tell you enough how happy you made me with this beautiful and healthy pup. The dogs at home received him like their own child. In January we started puppy training in a small group of gundogs. It was useful and good fun. No doubts about Sunny's passion for retrieving. For a young dog it is sometimes confusing to be trained both for the showring and for fieldwork. So we decided to let the show prevail, for the time being.
